This policy explains how Focusward handles information when you use the browser extension, purchase Focusward Pro, request support, or visit our public pages. Focusward is operated by Muhammad Sohaib Amjad, with a business address at 64 Chohan Road, Islampura, Lahore, Pakistan.
Focusward keeps goals, domain lists, session history, and browsing information used for focus enforcement in Chrome local storage. It does not send that information to the license service, CREEM, advertisers, or analytics providers.
Information handled by the extension
Browsing and tab information
Focusward reads the URLs, domains, and titles of open tabs to enforce the focus rules you choose, move unavailable tabs to the Focusward blocked page, restore those tabs after a session, and show routes to tabs that remain available.
This browsing information is processed locally on your device. Focusward does not send visited URLs, domains, tab titles, page content, focus goals, allow lists, block lists, or session history to our license service, CREEM, advertisers, or analytics providers.
Goals, settings, and focus activity
Focusward stores goals, domain rules, presets, session timing, blocked attempts, queued domains, completion events, exit reasons, and settings in Chrome local storage. This information is used only to provide the focus features, history, and settings you request.
License and installation information
When you activate or verify Focusward Pro, the extension sends the following information over HTTPS to the Focusward license service:
- Your CREEM license key
- A random Focusward installation identifier
- The CREEM license instance identifier after activation
- The requested license operation
The license service sends the minimum required license information to CREEM. CREEM returns product, license, activation, expiry, subscription, refund, and dispute status as applicable. The license service may also process ordinary security records such as IP address, request time, and request outcome.
Focusward does not include browsing information or focus activity in a license request.
Purchase information
CREEM hosts checkout and acts as the merchant of record for Focusward purchases. CREEM may collect your name, email address, billing address, payment information, tax information, and transaction details under its own privacy policy. Focusward does not receive or store complete payment card details.
Support information
If you contact support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, order identifier, diagnostic description, and message history. Do not send passwords, complete payment card numbers, or complete license keys in a support message.
How information is used
We use information only to provide and enforce the focus sessions you request, save your local settings and history, activate and validate licenses, prevent license abuse, process purchases and disputes, respond to support and legal requests, and maintain service reliability and security.
Sharing
Focusward does not sell personal information. Focusward does not use browsing activity or focus activity for advertising.
Information may be shared with CREEM for checkout, payment, tax, customer portal, license, refund, and dispute processing; Cloudflare for hosting the Focusward license service; Google if you contact support through Gmail; and professional advisers or authorities when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, prevent fraud, or establish legal rights. Each provider receives only information reasonably necessary for its role.
Retention
Local goals, settings, and history remain in Chrome local storage until you clear them or uninstall Focusward. The extension stores the license key and license instance locally until you remove the license or uninstall Focusward.
The Focusward license service retains minimum entitlement and security records for 30 days after paid access ends. This retention period does not extend access to paid features. CREEM retains purchase and transaction records according to its policies and legal obligations. Support messages are retained for 12 months after the support case closes.
Your choices
You can edit or remove goals and domain lists, clear focus history in Focusward settings, deactivate and remove a stored license, cancel a monthly subscription through the CREEM customer portal, and uninstall Focusward to remove extension data stored by Chrome. Contact sohaibk1001@gmail.com to request access, correction, or deletion where applicable. Some transaction records may need to be retained for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute, or legal obligations.
Security
License requests use HTTPS. Private CREEM API keys, webhook secrets, and service credentials are kept on the Focusward license service and are never packaged in the extension. Focusward does not load remote executable code. No security measure is perfect. Please contact us if you believe Focusward has a security issue.
Children
Focusward is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International processing
CREEM and Focusward service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards will be used.
Chrome Web Store Limited Use
The use of information received from Chrome APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Changes
We may update this policy when Focusward, our providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date above will be updated. Material changes will be disclosed where required by law.
