These Terms govern your use of Focusward, including the browser extension, public website, Focusward Pro license service, and related support. Focusward is operated by Muhammad Sohaib Amjad, with a business address at 64 Chohan Road, Islampura, Lahore, Pakistan.
Acceptance
By installing, accessing, purchasing, or using Focusward, you agree to these Terms and the Focusward Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Focusward.
You must be legally able to enter a binding agreement in your location. If you use Focusward for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
The service
Focusward helps you create timed browser focus sessions. You choose a goal and the domains that should remain available or unavailable. Focusward then uses Chrome extension capabilities to redirect navigation during the session.
Focusward is a focus aid, not an access control, parental control, safety, medical, emergency, employment monitoring, or security product. Chrome permits users to disable or remove extensions. Focusward cannot control other browsers, profiles, devices, or protected Chrome pages.
Free access and Focusward Pro
Each installation receives 30 cumulative minutes of active website blocking. After that allowance is used, continued focus sessions require Focusward Pro.
Focusward Pro is offered as monthly access for $6.99 per month or lifetime access for a single payment of $59.99. Prices may include or exclude tax according to the checkout display and applicable law.
Lifetime access means access to Focusward Pro features for as long as Focusward is offered and maintained by the operator. It does not guarantee that Focusward, Chrome, CREEM, or any third party service will operate forever.
Purchases and renewal
CREEM hosts checkout and acts as merchant of record. CREEM processes payments, taxes, receipts, subscription management, refunds, and disputes.
Monthly access renews automatically each month until canceled. You can cancel through the CREEM customer portal. Cancellation stops future renewal charges. Unless the checkout or applicable law says otherwise, access continues through the end of the current paid period. The lifetime plan does not renew. Purchases are also subject to the checkout terms presented by CREEM.
License keys
A purchase may include a license key. You may activate the key on up to 3 Focusward installations. You may not publish, sell, rent, share, or transfer a license key except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Focusward may validate the license periodically. Access may be suspended when a license is invalid, expired, disabled, refunded, disputed, outside its activation limit, or associated with a canceled entitlement.
Refunds
All monthly and lifetime payments are final and nonrefundable. Focusward does not offer voluntary refunds, prorated refunds, credits, or refunds for unused time. Exceptions required by applicable law and decisions made by CREEM or a payment provider still apply. See the Focusward Refund Policy.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for choosing appropriate focus rules, reviewing allowed domains before starting a session, keeping your browser, device, purchase email, and license key secure, using the emergency exit when continued blocking creates a genuine problem, and complying with law and the rights of others.
You must not circumvent license limits or payment requirements; attack, overload, probe, or disrupt Focusward or its license service; reverse engineer Focusward except where applicable law expressly permits it; use Focusward to monitor another person without lawful authority and informed consent; or use Focusward for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity.
Ownership
Focusward and its original software, branding, text, and design are owned by Muhammad Sohaib Amjad or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable, nonexclusive, nontransferable right to use Focusward according to your purchased plan. You retain ownership of the goals, domain lists, and other content you enter.
Third party services
Focusward depends on Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, CREEM, and the Focusward license service host. Their separate terms and policies may apply. We are not responsible for changes to third party platforms that are outside our reasonable control.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Focusward. We will use reasonable care to avoid unnecessary loss of paid functionality and will provide notice where required by law.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms where permitted by law.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirements, payment reversal, or a material violation of these Terms.
You may stop using Focusward at any time. Removing the extension does not automatically cancel a monthly subscription. Cancel recurring billing through the CREEM customer portal.
Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Focusward is provided as available and without warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, complete blocking, permanent compatibility with Chrome, or achievement of a particular productivity result.
Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Muhammad Sohaib Amjad will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of profits, loss of data, loss of opportunity, or business interruption arising from Focusward.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, total liability relating to Focusward will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for Focusward during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles, to the extent those laws apply to the transaction. Before filing a formal claim, please contact sohaibk1001@gmail.com and allow 30 days for a good faith attempt to resolve the issue. Consumers retain any mandatory right to bring a claim in their home jurisdiction. Subject to mandatory consumer rights, disputes may be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in the United States.
